Locations
Our Backup Network is strategically located in 2 of Ireland's leading mission critical grade Data Centres. Our  equipment is housed in Digiweb, Ireland in College Business & Technology Park in Blanchardstown, and Cable & Wireless in Clonshaugh Dublin 17.  These sites are both one of the most advanced and secure facilities in Ireland.  Our Backup Network is also monitored from our Head Quarters in Nenagh, Co.Tipperary.

Power Distribution
UPS supported Dual Power A&B is distributed to our backup servers.

Air Conditioning
The data vault is cooled using 50kW Denco air conditioning units.  These are deployed throughout the facility, ensuring cooling and humidity is kept within the industry acceptable standards.

Building Management System
The Building Management System monitors all our environment equipment - Mechanical and Electrical. Generator, Fuel Tanks, Power distribution, Pumps and Air Conditioning units. The SCADA based alarm system is monitored 24x7 locally and by our NOC.

Data Centre Security
The data centre is manned 24x7 by an experienced onsite security team. All visitors require an access ticket that is pre-booked in advance to gain access. CCTV Covers all external areas of the data centre. The access control system utilises proximity card controls (Cardax) ensuring controlled access to the data centre

Hardware
Our backup vault servers are Dell PowerEdge Servers, powered by performance Quad Core Xeon processors.  Our servers are built with performance, reliability and durability in mind.  Each backup server uses Windows 2003 Server technology as the operating system.  Each servers consists of dual power supplies, multiple-fed network cards, hardware raid controllers for disk mirroring onsite.

Replication
To compliment our disk mirroring on-site, we replicate all our data offsite to another data centre in Cable & Wireless in Clonshaugh Dublin 17.

Network
Our offsite data backup network comprises of multiple optical fibre links routed to various destinations throughout Europe and the US, peering with Tier 1 Internet providers. Our Network is carrier neutral and provides multiple choices from diverse fibre providers allowing redundant fibre connections out to the Internet. Fibre from these diverse vendors is routed via diverse physical paths into the Hosting Facility. This eliminates any single point of failure between our network and the Internet. Our Network was designed from the ground up with the primary goal of providing 100% availability of the Internet to your equipment. This goal is obtained through multi-homing and BGP-4.  We provide 4 layers of redundancy.
